Its indeed my pleasure and honour to make this closing remark .

On behalf of the Ethics and privileges commitee of the doctors time out family(DTOF) ,I sincerely thank each and everyone that contributed in making DTOF 5th anniversary a huge success.

This week long activities have been spectacular ,sensational and very resourceful.The superb achievements of  DTOF have once more buttressed the unity and cohesion of this great family- Doctors Time Out .

A family through which doctors can exercise their rights to life , to practice the profession with liberty and dignity to pursue happiness,caring for needy and loving less privileged  while sustaining a healthy medical profession and Nation at large.

Once more our events for this anniversary  have proven without doubt that we are not just great doctors ,we are great HUMANS.

A million thanks to the Local Organizing committee of this years event (DTOF engine room - Ethics and Privileges unit) ,they are indeed the pace maker .To be honest when we started the planning for the 5th anniversary,we weren't sure we can pull it off ,but you certainly did and did it well. To you, my salute is unique!

To the regional and centre cordinators nationwide with special reference to UCTH , UPTH , BMSH(SS) ,UNTH (SE) UCH (SW) UDUTH(NW) ,FTH Gombe (NE) 
FMC Bida (NC)..u guys deserve some accolades)and those in diaspora ,you made it happen at those levels .What an outstanding work you all have done.We are proud of you..Even as other centres and regions have promised and are encouraged to do something in the coming days.

To the donors and sponsors  all over the country .May the Lord meet you at the point of your needs.

We wish to profusely appreciate the NMA Secretary GENERAL a great leader ,mentor ,teacher ,father and a man of great wit  and wisdom,ur opening remark was second to none.Thanks for that priceless piece ,huge SUPPORT and for being a source of inspiration and encouragement

To our key worthy and able guest Speakers ..you all did justice to the topic and with ur slides we all shall be alright very soon..


To the NARD President and his entire crew , we appreciate the invaluable support and inestimable value you have given this platform. My leader, we are partners in oiling the NARD wheel of progress.Mr President.. Be rest assured that the boys' loyalty are unparalled & unbridled.

In a special way ,we appreciate all the ARD center presidents and their officers(past and present) for their dedication , being true to and believing in this course .Your works speaks volume of the kind of men you are --creative,efficient ,organised and result oriented.


To the entire ARD members  all over the country ,your good disposition has gone a long way in helping the family achieve most of her targets and goals over the past 1825days.Your dedication and insights were really inspiring .Just an opportunity to say, Thank You.

Then to all members of the DTOF family..I DOFF MY HAT
Taking out time from your busy personal and professional schedules to make this anniversary a reality means the world to me .
I'm glad we can judge ourselves not only on our professional achievements but also on how well 
we have addressed the world's deepest inequities , on how well we treated people a world away who have nothing in common with us but their humanity and God nature.
You people are amazingly awesome.Great Job guys.


Efforts are already on top gear towards the following:
-Make our telegram group more active and popular as we keep getting requests for wider membership by intending members
-Finalising of our constitution
-Annual General meeting (preceded by fundraising) where new set of officers will be elected and constitution adopted.
-Looking at some sort of palliatives/heratfelt optional token funds for members planning wedding/child naming and during bereavement
-Convening of physical(not online) outreaches/talks, NEC,OGM and AGM and get together on a rotational basis..

All these will come with a little more sacrifice/ from all of us and EVERYONE will be carried along.

But inspite of all these ,i urge us all to keep the fire burning , PLEASE do not RELENT and lets always do our best .

REMEMBER a GOOD DEED is a PASSPORT to a happy LIFE

DOCTORS TIMEOUT FAMILY (DTOF) WARNED US ALL LAST YEAR JUST BEFORE THE ELECTION ON THE DANGERS OF ELECTING A GOVT APPOINTEE TO LEAD AN ASSOCIATION LIKE NMA BUT FOR SELFISH REASONS MOST OF US WENT AHEAD

Good evening my people , now that Prof Ujah has accepted his Vice Chancellorship appointment, i feel the next rational step is for him to withdraw his candidacy for NMA President. No long story! If he does otherwise and proceeds with his NMA candidacy after accepting his VC appointment, then something is hugely wrong.The earlier we stop defending the indefensible the better for us all NB..We are for everybody and for no body ie We are not campaigning for or against anybody in the forthcoming election. We have a strong feeling that Prof wont allow some political jobbers and masquerades who have long remained in Naija doctors political space solely for their personal interest and self aggrandizement to coerce him into this moral conundrum. Some people have been eaten up and still derive their source of livelihood from NMA NARD etc. ..now they see Prof as a potential winner and want to force him to take this journey of monumental disgrace and humongous ignominy just for their personal gai

5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ON 19TH JUNE 2020 AT SOUTH EAST IN UNTH ITUKU OZALLA

SOUTH EAST DTOF REGIONAL REPORTS* June 19, 2020 was a remarkable day for little *Master Chijianu Abonyi* a 20 month old male, admitted in the Paediatric Ward for Obstructive Uropathy. The patient’s mother is indigent and couldn’t afford her hospital bills.  Today this child benefited from the *DOCTORS TIME OUT FAMILY CHARITIES * who made a presentation of the sum of *120,000 naira* to the family. The South-East team, ably led by the *NARD PSG, Dr Aneke*, in the company of current and past presidents of ARD UNTH and ARD NOHE namely  *Dr Ekeoma Nwosu* ARD UNTH POTARD *Dr Okorie* ARD NOHE POTARD *Dr Ndiokwelu * ARD UNTH Past POTARD *Dr Okolo KC* ARD NOHE Past POTARD And the ADN of the Paediatrics were on ground to mark this occasion.
