5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS AT SOUTH WEST UCH IBADAN ON WEDNESDAY 17TH JUNE 2020

    *Doctors Timeout Family aDonates to UCH*

    In response to an appeal by the Hospital management for support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, and in commemoration of her fifth year anniversary, *a non-profit charitable group, Doctors’ Timeout Family (DTOF), donated surgical sanitizer , examination glovesface masks, bleach, surgical gloves and hand sanitizers to the Hospital*

    Founder and CEO of the group, Dr. Anthony Ude presented the items to the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Otegbayo who on behalf of the management applauded the kind gesture.

    The Chairman (MAC) of the hospital, Dr. Victor Akinmoladun who was on hand to receive the items alongside the Chief Medical Director, said: “every donation the hospital receives is considered major in the execution of the battle, this will no doubt enhance our fight against the novel coronavirus.”
    Also in commemoration of her fifth year anniversary, a non-profit charitable group, Doctors' Timeout Family (DTOF), has also donated surgical face masks, bleach, surgical gloves and hand sanitizers to the Department of Radiology. 

    Founder and CEO of the group, Dr. Anthony Ude presented the items to the Head, Department of Radiology, Prof. Omolola Atalabi who on behalf of the management extolled the kind gesture and affirmed that the items will be put to good use.
    THE GROUP ALSO GAVE sum of N50,000 to the indiget fund account of the Pediatric dept UCH , Prof Lagunju the head thanked the DTOF team
    As at the close of business on Thursday, 18th June 2020, there are no new cases of the COVID 19 in the hospital.

    The University College Hospital, Ibadan will continue to play a leading role in combating the spread of the coronavirus and has upscaled her effort to render excellent care and services to all our patients. The Hospital equally enjoins everyone to adhere to the required infection prevention and control measures prescribed by the WHO and the NCDC, such as physical distancing, regular hand washing, use of hand sanitizers & face masks.

Good evening my people , now that Prof Ujah has accepted his Vice Chancellorship appointment, i feel the next rational step is for him to withdraw his candidacy for NMA President. No long story! If he does otherwise and proceeds with his NMA candidacy after accepting his VC appointment, then something is hugely wrong.The earlier we stop defending the indefensible the better for us all NB..We are for everybody and for no body ie We are not campaigning for or against anybody in the forthcoming election. We have a strong feeling that Prof wont allow some political jobbers and masquerades who have long remained in Naija doctors political space solely for their personal interest and self aggrandizement to coerce him into this moral conundrum. Some people have been eaten up and still derive their source of livelihood from NMA NARD etc. ..now they see Prof as a potential winner and want to force him to take this journey of monumental disgrace and humongous ignominy just for their personal gai

SOUTH EAST DTOF REGIONAL REPORTS* June 19, 2020 was a remarkable day for little *Master Chijianu Abonyi* a 20 month old male, admitted in the Paediatric Ward for Obstructive Uropathy. The patient’s mother is indigent and couldn’t afford her hospital bills.  Today this child benefited from the *DOCTORS TIME OUT FAMILY CHARITIES * who made a presentation of the sum of *120,000 naira* to the family.
