On behalf of the National Executive Council of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, I have the honour and pleasure to welcome you all, to the occasion of the 5th Year Anniversary celebration of the Doctors Timeout Family (DTOF). DTOF  has come a long way since its inception 5years ago.   We decided to visit an Orphanage home *Azibaola Children's home PH* The lady in charge ( Rev Mary Edoni) does not like her home to be referred to as an orphanage 😊 She was excited seeing us .The Children's home received us with open arms , they sang and prayed for everyone. They were very grateful for your generosity.   Many thanks for putting a smile on their faces, may God bless us all. WE DONATED CONSUMABLES TO HELP IN FIGHTING COVID 19 Availbale were Dr Nasiru Mohd CMAC All Faruk Maishehi Hospital Sec and staffs of public relation unit Chief Resident Surgery and chief resident Urology unit UDUTH Sokoto. UDUTH management gladly received the items and promised judicious use. They send their appreciation We will get official letter to that effect Later in the week we were also at orphanage home at Lodge Road Orphanage Home, Sokoto. DTOF REPORT FROM GOMBE NORTH EASTERN NIGERIA ON THE OCCASION OF ITS 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY PREAMBLE: To celebrate the existence of this non profit, non governmental organisation on it's 5th year anniversary Gombe State was picked to benefit from the charitable gesture of the organisation. ACTIVITIES: 1. Support for the fight against COVID-19. 2. Support to an indigent cancer child. Support For The fight Against Covid-19: The DTOF family paid a visit to the management of Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe on Friday 19th June 2020, We were received by the Acting CMD DR S J Bathnnah in company of the Hospital Acting CMAC and DCMAC Research and Training,  Dr Yusuf Abdullahi and Dr Kefas Paul Zawaya. An Ambassadorial role was offered to them which they gladly accepted having known the work of the organisation through various projects across the country. SOUTH EAST DTOF REGIONAL REPORTS* June 19, 2020 was a remarkable day for little *Master Chijianu Abonyi* a 20 month old male, admitted in the Paediatric Ward for Obstructive Uropathy. The patient’s mother is indigent and couldn’t afford her hospital bills.  Today this child benefited from the *DOCTORS TIME OUT FAMILY CHARITIES * who made a presentation of the sum of *120,000 naira* to the family. The South-East team, ably led by the *NARD PSG, Dr Aneke*, in the company of current and past presidents of ARD UNTH and ARD NOHE namely  *Dr Ekeoma Nwosu* ARD UNTH POTARD *Dr Okorie* ARD NOHE POTARD *Dr Ndiokwelu * ARD UNTH Past POTARD *Dr Okolo KC* ARD NOHE Past POTARD And the ADN of the Paediatrics were on ground to mark this occasion.
