 Doctor's Timeout Family (DTOF) 7th Anniversary Celebration -- SOUTH EAST ZONE REPORT 


Hosted by ARD, FMC Umuahia on Thursday, 30th June 2022


Activities started with;


✅ Visit to the Paediatrics, Medical, and Surgical Wards of FMC Umuahia.


Members of DTOF/ARD FMC Umuahia received a warm reception from the Matron and the nurses on duty.



Cash donations to indigent patients were presented in collaboration with DTOF/ARD FMC Umuahia, and the initiative of the DTOF founder/ CEO was highly commended. The patients were very excited for the support given to them and prayed that the Almighty will bless the donors in multiple folds.



✅ The 2nd activity was a visit to the Ahiaeke Motherless babies home by the DTOF/ARD, FMC Umuahia team, where bag of rice, Cartons of beverages,  biscuits, Indomie Nodules, toiletries etc was donated to the orphanage. The managers of the home and the kids were filled with gratitude for the kind gesture of the group and prayed that God will replenish us abundantly.  They also thanked the founder of the group and the donors for the great initiative. 


 APPRECIATION 


We appreciate the Founder of DTOF, Dr Anthony Ude (Narcolepsy) for the continuous efforts at reaching out to the less privileged through DTOF.


Special thanks goes to the NARD South East Caucus leader Dr Okeke Kingsley, and other ebulient personalities of the caucus like Dr Ejiofor Chukwujama to mention but a few, who not only gave wonderful pieces of advice but also supported us


Our profound gratitude also goes to the Crown Prince of NARD Dr Orji Emeka Innocent for the fatherly role he played all through and the phenomenal support he gave.


Also, to appreciate Drs Imahigbe Frank, Ezuruike Ezinwa, Onuh Emeka, Robinson Ugwuanyi, Chikezie Kelechi, Agazie Kelechi, Oji-Onuoha Stella, Anyaoha Uchenna, Ifenkoronye Clement, all the ARD FMC Umuahia executives and all other ARD/DTOF members present who gave selflessly and participated actively in making the occasion a phenomenal and remarkable one.

Good evening my people , now that Prof Ujah has accepted his Vice Chancellorship appointment, i feel the next rational step is for him to withdraw his candidacy for NMA President. No long story! If he does otherwise and proceeds with his NMA candidacy after accepting his VC appointment, then something is hugely wrong.The earlier we stop defending the indefensible the better for us all NB..We are for everybody and for no body ie We are not campaigning for or against anybody in the forthcoming election. We have a strong feeling that Prof wont allow some political jobbers and masquerades who have long remained in Naija doctors political space solely for their personal interest and self aggrandizement to coerce him into this moral conundrum. Some people have been eaten up and still derive their source of livelihood from NMA NARD etc. ..now they see Prof as a potential winner and want to force him to take this journey of monumental disgrace and humongous ignominy just for their personal gai

SOUTH EAST DTOF REGIONAL REPORTS* June 19, 2020 was a remarkable day for little *Master Chijianu Abonyi* a 20 month old male, admitted in the Paediatric Ward for Obstructive Uropathy. The patient’s mother is indigent and couldn’t afford her hospital bills.  Today this child benefited from the *DOCTORS TIME OUT FAMILY CHARITIES * who made a presentation of the sum of *120,000 naira* to the family. The South-East team, ably led by the *NARD PSG, Dr Aneke*, in the company of current and past presidents of ARD UNTH and ARD NOHE namely  *Dr Ekeoma Nwosu* ARD UNTH POTARD *Dr Okorie* ARD NOHE POTARD *Dr Ndiokwelu * ARD UNTH Past POTARD *Dr Okolo KC* ARD NOHE Past POTARD And the ADN of the Paediatrics were on ground to mark this occasion.
