Meet The Executives of Doctors Timeout Family / First year anniversary
DTOF as fondly called was created on the 15th day of June 2015 by Dr Ude Anthony Narcolepsy (popularly known as Narcolepsy) of Radiology unit of University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, with the sole aim of fostering interpersonal relationship ,global networking and timely dissection of issues that affect doctors.
The issues for discussion cut across all fields of human endeavors. In fact if you are a resident doctor in Nigerian and occupying or have occupied any leadership position in your center or in NARD ( National Association of Resident Doctors) and you are not a member of the DTOF then your political and intellectual clouts need to be questioned as DTOF only accepts crème de la crème among doctors.
Meanwhile ,DTOF platform is where any piece of news is properly discussed before it gets to the public. Currently, the management of DTOF has only Whatsapp account and it is fully occupied with the Whatsapp maximum number of 256. New members can only be added by removing redundant and passive members who do not make any meaning contributions to the ‘parliament’. Occasionally, there are periods of ‘axing and weeding’ akin to periods of execution of condemned criminals in our prisons. However, the periods only come after several warnings to members that don’t make contributions during ‘plenary sessions.
The activities of DTOF are anchored by the Ethics and Privilege Committee headed by Dr Oamen Blaze , the Chairman.
Other members of the Committee include:
Dr Joseph Okoeguale who is the secretary
Others are:
Dr Udegbunam Mmmaduabuchi -- Diasporean Matters
